In his article, "Establishing a Recovery Community Bedrock of Mutual Interest to Build a Future On", published December 6, 2023, William Stauffer talks about the necessity of thinking deeper and more seriously to create "a bedrock" on which to create a long term recovery effort to fight the complex problems that drug addiction proliferates.

He emphasizes the importance of community and  cautions on accepting an easy fix to this critical problem.
